ST GILES' CHURCH CHRISTMAS MARKET
Please come and support our Christmas Market on Saturday 10th December. It will be held in St Giles' Church Hall between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. This year the proceeds are in aid of the Yeldall Homeless Project and St Giles' Church Hall Fund.
As usual there will be a variety of stalls including cakes, preserves, plants and table decorations, jewellery, CDs, DVDs and records, a tombola, book corner, cards, paper and gifts, collectables, craft gifts, homeware and much more. Visit Santa in the Children's Corner, sample the light refreshments and be lucky in the raffle, which will be drawn at 12.15 p.m. Entrance 50p, and under16s are free.
ST GILES' JUNIOR CHURCH

On Sunday 18th December in the Church Hall at 9.45 a.m. the Explorers, Climbers and Scramblers will again present their Nativity Plays. All parents, grandparents, and friends are welcome to come to this short service (maximum three quarters of an hour) with Carols.
The new Christmas mural was put on display in St Giles' Church Front Hall on 27th November. It was created by all the St Giles' Junior Church groups, Brownies and Jack & Jill groups. Do take a look if you are passing when refreshments are served after Sunday services.

ST GILES' 'POSADA'

As part of our celebrations of Advent, St Giles' Church is, once again, organising a modern POSADA (this is the Spanish word for 'inn').
Each day during Advent, small figures of Mary and Joseph will travel round Ickenham from one home to another, returning to church on Christmas Eve. This will help us to think about making room for Jesus in our homes and in our lives, particularly recalling how there was no room for Mary and Joseph in the inn.
ST GILES' CHURCH MONTHLY STREET PRAYER LIST
Each week at St Giles' Church we pray for all the people who live or work in a particular road in the Parish. During December we will pray for the following roads: 4th - Bushey Road. 11th - Campden Road. 18th - Charlbury Road. 25th - Charlton Close. In January 2006: 1st - Clovelly Avenue. 8th - Clovelly Close. 15th - Copthall Road East. 22nd - Copthall Road West. 29th - Court Road.
