ICKENHAM CHURCHES’ WOMEN’S GROUP BADMINTON SESSIONS
Mondays at 8 p.m. and Tuesdays at 1.45 p.m. (except second Tuesdays in each month) in the Meggeson Hall at Ickenham U.R.C. £1.50 per session and new women members are welcome.
PARKINSONS DISEASE SOCIETY, HILLINGDON BRANCH
COFFEE AND INFORMATION MORNING
The members of the Parkinsons Disease Society, Hillingdon Branch, would like to see all their friends and fellow Parkinsons sufferers at their Coffee and Information Morning to be held on the 12th May. The Ickenham Village Hall is where we will all meet for tea, coffee, and cakes (cost £1.50), and we open at 10 a.m. Plants will be for sale, also bric-a-brac, books, cakes and marmalades.
The Development Officer from the P.D.S. National Office will be available to answer questions.
There will be a raffle. Entrance 40p (or a donation to Parkinsons would be appreciated). We will close at 12 noon.
If you have Parkinsons, or know of someone with Parkinsons you will be particularly welcome.

JAZZ ON ICKENHAM'S DOORSTEP
At West Ruislip Golf Centre, Ickenham Road (opposite West Ruislip Station), Jazz is held once a month. On the 3rd Monday of each month a nationally acclaimed jazz guest fronts a quartet of musicians. Restarted a few months ago, admission was reduced to £5 as this is now run independently on a non-profit making basis. Next session is March 19th starting at 8.30 p.m. and you do not have to be a member. For more details call 01895-632394
CAN YOU HELP THESE ACTIVE BEAVERS?

1st Ickenham Beavers need your help. We are a small friendly group of Beaver Scouts aged between 6 and 8 and meet each Saturday morning during term time at our HQ in Community Close. We are growing in number and our Leaders need some more regular helpers or Leaders.

ICKENHAM FESTIVAL FAMILY BARN DANCE
Saturday 10th March from 7 p.m. to midnight in Vyners School Hall, Warren Road
The Festival of Ickenham Team is holding a "Family Barn Dance" in the Vyners School Hall. This is an evening of Barn Dancing for all the family and features an experienced caller. No special skills are needed and a great night out is promised for all! There will also be a supper and a licensed bar.

ALL SNOWED UP BUT STILL OPERATIONAL

Despite all the heavy snow on the morning of Thursday 8th March, Verger John Ralph was out and about clearing the path to St Giles’ Church ready for the regular weekly 10 a.m. service of Holy Communion. Come and join us every Thursday, and Sunday too of course.
