St Giles’ Christmas Festival

Sat 1st Dec from 10am till 4.30pm
Proceeds to Church Funds and to CLICK Rukiga

The church will be open all day for our Christmas Tree Festival, while in the Church Hall there will be an opportunity to enjoy morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon teas.

From 10am to 12 noon, Christmas gifts, crafts, cards and wrapping paper will be on sale, along with jewellery, perfumery, seasonal table floral decorations, home-made cakes, CDs and DVDs.

Jack & Jill will run a children’s corner with Games and Crafts.

There will be occasional live musical interludes in the Church.

You won’t have to collect your own water for your teas and coffees, but there’s a chance to have a go if you want to.  How would you cope with fetching your own water?  Imagine if you had to do it all the time!

Buy a numbered jigsaw piece - £1 each – and build an upside-down puzzle in aid of CLICK Rukiga.  When the jigsaw is complete, we’ll turn it round to reveal the full picture, and we’ll hopefully be on our way to making these journeys a thing of the past.  One numbered piece will win its owner the jigsaw too.

If you can’t be there on the day, you can still take part.  Post a donation to the Rectory in an envelope marked ‘Jigsaw’.  Cheques should be payable to Ickenham PCC, with your name, contact details and the word ‘Festival’ on the reverse.

Admission to both the Church and the Hall is £1.00 for Adults  (Children Free).

Please join us as we look forward to the Joy of Christmas.

(Contact David Millen on 01895 637932 for further details.)
