BIBLE HARVESTS

An imaginative range of displays at the URC illustrated harvests from biblical times; fruits, wines, bread, milk, honey and spices were all featured on the day of our Harvest Festival, when we thanked God for his goodness in providing for us, and brought along food and drink to be shared among those whose need is greater. 

As usual, the items collected at both churches were subsequently distributed around the borough; fresh produce went to Charles Curran House, Ickenham Abbeyfield, Ickenham Cottages, Woodland Residential Home and the Willesden charity, Upper Room.  Hillingdon Council then organised the distribution of packaged goods among families in need.
